Clay Shooter Supplies was established in 1974 by the then owner Mr. Denis Cole and managed by Mr. Mike Armstrong
At the tender age of thirteen, I pestered Mike to employ me as a Saturday helper, fetching cartridges, wrapping gifts and undertaking any odd jobs. Leaving school, I was employed by Mike as a full time Shop Assistant. The opportunity to work in the gun shop, a hobby I loved, and to actually get paid for it seemed to be the ideal solution.
As the years have passed, working in the shop has allowed me to gain the knowledge I have about country life and has led to many invitations to shoot all over the country, both game and clay at competition level. Recently I was lucky enough to be part of the winning team for the first trophy given from the Northamptonshire Game Conservancy as part of the Mc Nab Challenge. Now the proprietor of Clay Shooters Supplies the standard of service still remains of the highest standard, offering a personal, friendly service to clients old and new.
We are always happy to help or give advice with queries or concerns relating to firearms and shotgun applications as well as straight forward answers. Although the name Clay Shooters Supplies may lead you to believe that the shop has more interest in promoting clay shooting, this is not true we have a large stock of guns, clothing and equipment for all shooting requirements.
